Sustainable myths

Just for public awareness!!!

When Clausius defined in the middle of 19th century Second Law, there was a dispute about his theory: thermal death of universe. Universe is open system, and second law is for close systems. Author of this blog, a shabby energy engineer, has another statement:
Energy death of planet. Resources of planet are going to fade.I mean fossil resources. Mankind consume yearly fossils, they were sedimented tens of millions of years. Our ecological debt is already too huge.

Rich people, become rich due to fossil golden age. They will not open wide their purse, even if they die. Rich keep money for investments in new technologies of sustainable energy. Politicians are public prostitutes, elected by rich as for their own convenience. With all good will, they can't do anything, they should obey, there where money are.

Imagine after 50 years planet without fossils (very expensive), with devastated land unable to produce food? This is not blog about green, health life and such stuff. This is blog about life itself.
This blog will analyze some myths about sustainability, just to see things are not bright. For public awareness I recommend to read this

Orwelian speech

of his eminence, late Admiral Haymann Rickover, father of nuclear submarines of USA. Now after 50 years we can see more clear our not too bright future. Read about stupid myths of sustainability spread for peace in home.

Is there a solution? Personal I think is too late. All existing fossils must be used for intense transition of sustainability. Or there is no hint. What is done up to now in the world is just a caricature, burlesque. Some speculative calculations consider heavy oil tar and sand, as well as shell oil reserves. In simple words, this reserves are oil in forming future reserves. Considering these reserves, we are like drunkard, who ferment his own alcohol, can't wait, must drink and start to drink unfermented alcohol just to be a little drunk. Land, to perform his regenerative role, must be fertilized. Fertilizer must be of two kinds: urea from nitrogen, obtained through imense quantities of gas, or natural from animal waste which is presented like source for biogas, another stupid myth.

Consider every swallow of food you take daily. Now consider only transport up to your mouth is 20% of value, just in oil. Consider immense quantities of gas need to produce artificial land fertilizer. How much fossil in form of oil spend agricultural machines? All in all, your swallow consume at least 80% of irretrievable fossil energy. This is not myth, this is reality. Look around yourself and see how much plastic you can touch. All is produced from oil sources.
And oil is less and less. No more oceans of oil. More and more extraction from loophales, more and more expensive technology, less and less oil. Like a toothpaste tube going to empty, and you push more and more to wash your teeth. One day will finish.
Is mankind ready for such a challenge?
Not at all. As from speech of Admiral Rickover:" Fossil fuels resemble capital in the bank. A prudent and responsible parent will use his capital sparingly in order to pass on to his children as much as possible of his inheritance. A selfish and irresponsible parent will squander it in riotous living and care not one whit how his offspring will fare."
